About Us

Lakeway Truck Center was founded in 1959 by the Parton family when the highway to Thunderbay was just being constructed.  When the Partons retired in March of 1994, a longtime customer of Lakeway Truck Centre, Donnie Varcoe, bought the business. For Donnie, whos family had been in the trucking business since he was a small boy, taking over Lakeway Truck Centre was natural.
 
The company is a dealer for International Truck & Engine Corp. We carry a complete line of International trucks and can custom order a vehicle for any application.
 
International Trucks are known for dependability and comfort, and are proven performers in rugged driving conditions. Besides New and Used trucks Lakeway carries Parts for all makes and models of trucks and trailers. We also service what we sell.
